The Brecknell SBI 140 indicator is an affordable and easy-to-use weight indicator designed for various applications. It features a compact design housed in a stainless steel/ABS case and comes complete with a mounting bracket, making it suitable for wall or bench mounting. The SBI 140 is compatible with the entire range of Brecknell platform scales and can be connected to any platform featuring up to four 350-ohm load cells for non-trade applications. The indicator boasts an easy-to-read five-digit LCD display, measuring 0.625 inches (17 mm) high, ensuring clear and accurate readings. It includes a standard full-duplex RS-232 output for connecting to printers and other devices. The scale is equipped with NCI protocol, allowing it to interface with most common shipping software, such as UPS™ Worldship Online and FedEx®. The keyboard features push buttons for power on/off, tare (100% subtractive), and kg/lb switching, which provides readings in metric and avoirdupois units (including both decimal pounds and pounds and ounces). It also includes a hold feature, allowing the weight to be displayed even after the item is removed from the platform. To improve battery life, the SBI 140 incorporates an auto-off feature, shutting down the indicator after 2 minutes of inactivity. Front panel calibration makes installation and setup extremely straightforward.
